The thought that the word vulnerability brings to mind is probably shame, fear, and uncertainty. While these may be vulnerabilities, they are not always signs of weakness. In most of the world, people have been taught to hide their faults and vulnerabilities because they can allow people control over you, or they open you to the possibility of rejection. This leads to most of us hiding large parts of ourselves so deeply that we can even begin to lose sight of ourselves.
